Communicating with indoor drones

Blue Jay Eindhoven develops domestic drones aiming to be social, helpful, safe and autonomous. Domestic drones are almost unexplored, and therefore this team is facing a lot of various challenges.

My contribution
As a contribution to this multi-disciplinary team extensive user research was performed focusing on the importance of human to drone interaction. I conducted relevant research covering the multiple different user needs of the drone in various applications. More

We presented an interactive game with children in the Maxima Medisch Centrum hospital in Eindhoven in which all different qualities (social, safe and autonomous) were demonstrated. More
My learnings
- This project was my first experience in a large multi-disciplinary team
- I extensively explored potential target groups and thoroughly reflected this to interaction design.
